Cyberpunk 2077 World Map

The World Map of Cyberpunk 2077 consists of the 6 major Districts that make up Night City as well as the outer Badlands. The 6 Districts and their corresponding Sub-Districts are:

DISTRICT SUB-DISTRICTS
City Center Corpo Plaza, Downtown
Heywood The Glen, Wellsprings, Vista Del Rey
Watson Little China, Kabuki, Arasaka Waterfront, Northside Industrial District
Santo Domingo Arroyo, Rancho Coronado
Pacifica Coast View, West Wind Estate
Westbrook Charter Hill, North Oaks, Japantown

How Big Is The Map?

The World Map for Cyberpunk 2077 spans around 25 square km, according to altchar. This places it roughly on par with similar open world titles such as Grand Theft Auto V. Though the final world map may not be the biggest of all time, it’s important to note that Night City most likely has extensive vertical density due to its many tall mega-structures.

What Are The Starting Areas?

Cyberpunk 2077 has three different Life Path options, each with their own unique starting location. If you choose the Corpo Path, you’ll begin in the City Center district. As a Street Kid, you’ll begin on the streets of Heywood. And if you choose the Nomad Life Path, you’ll actually begin your journey outside of Night City in The Badlands.

Each Life Path has a unique story and quest outcomes in addition to your starting location. Once you complete the initial starting missions of your chosen Life Path, all characters will start the main quest in Westbrook.

Choosing the Corpo Life Path starts you off in the City Center District.

What Are Districts?

Districts in Night City are self-contained areas of population with their own unique people, locations, quests, gangs and way of life.

What Other Locations Are There?

The Badlands lies just outside the walls of Night City and plays a prominent role in the Nomad Life Path. Players from other life paths can also travel to The Badlands as well.
