Cyberpunk 2077 Map Icons

Each District in Cyberpunk 2077 contains dozens of useful locations to further your adventure in Night City. The following icons are used to display specific locations on the World Map.

Cyberpunk 2077 Map Categories and Filters

The Cyberpunk 2077 Map can be filtered for location type by using the Z key on PC. This is helpful when you need to focus on a specific type of map marker, as the complete map can become quite crowded. Map categories are also colored coded as follows:

 

  • Drop Points (White)
  • Fast Travel (Blue)
  • Open World (Aqua)
  • Jobs (Yellow)
  • Services/Shops (White)

Pinned Location Your custom map pin.
V’s Vehicle Your Vehicle’s current location.
Apartment V’s Apartment, including your primary Stash.
Fast Travel A Fast Travel Gateway. You can travel between similar markers on the map. Fast Travel is free.
Undiscovered An undiscovered map marker.
Side Job Optional Side Missions. Biz that won’t make any major headlines: favors, straightforward tasks and chance encounters.
Main Job Main Story Missions.
Gun For Hire Find and eliminate the target.
Search And Recover Find the required item and take it to a drop box.
Thievery Steal a specific item.
Agent Saboteur Sabotage the target here.
SOS: Merc Needed A call for help on your phone.
Convoy ?
Fixer A person who has their hands in the city’s biz. They’ll contact you about new gigs.
Client Follow up on a job.
NCPD Scanner Hustles Eliminate enemies and loot the area.
Assault In Progress Neutralize the perps and secure evidence.
Organized Crime Activity Secure the area. Use of force permitted.
Reported Crime Neutralize any ongoing threat and secure evidence.
Cyberpsycho Sighting Boss fights against Night City’s cyber-enhanced nightmares.
Tarot Card Found graffiti.
Drop Point Used for selling and depositing items.
Clothing Buy new threads here.
Ripperdoc Upgrade, install and remove cyberware here.
Netrunner Buy netrunning equipment and quickhacks here.
Weapon Shop Stock up on firepower and ammo here.
Melee Weapon Vendor Get your blades and bludgeons here.
Medpoint Buy medical products here.
Food Grab a drink or a bite to eat here.
Bar Kick back and have a drink here.
Joytoy If you don’t know what services are offered here, maybe it’s better you don’t use them.
Junk Shop Buy and sell almost anything here. But beware: no refunds.

Tracking Objectives And Locations On The Cyberpunk 2077 Map

Right-clicking any Map Icon will track that objective for you, placing a handy trail on your Map for you to follow. This is a guaranteed route you can follow to arrive at your next destination, though there may be faster ways involving short cuts if you know Night City well enough.
