Cyberpunk 2077 Tech Weapons
Tech Weapons use electromagnetics to fire projectiles at extreme velocities. These weapons are powerful enough to pierce through cover including walls to hit enemies on the other side with a charged shot by holding down the weapon’s trigger.
Cyberpunk 2077 Tech Weapons List
Cyberpunk 2077 includes Tech Weapon versions of most regular weapons in the game with the exclusion of blades and blunt melee weapons. If you can shoot it, there’s probably a Tech Weapon version!

Tech Weapon Ammo In Cyberpunk 2077
Tech Weapons in Cyberpunk 2077 use the same ammo as standard weapons. So a Tech Shotgun will use standard shotgun shells, a Tech Pistol will use standard Pistol Ammo, and a Tech Sniper Rifle will use standard Sniper Rounds.
How To Use Tech Weapons To Shoot Through Walls In Cyberpunk 2077
Tech Weapons can be charged to allow their rounds to pierce through walls and cover. To do so, simply hold down the trigger for the full charge duration. Keep in mind that non-charged rounds from Tech Weapons do nothing special and will not pierce through cover.

Smart Weapons vs Tech Weapons In Cyberpunk 2077
Both Smart Weapons and Tech Weapons are very strong options in Cyberpunk 2077 so you may be wondering which option is better. For most builds, Tech Weapons are going to be the best option. This is because so many Perks exist exclusively for Tech Weapons but not for Smart Weapons.
For example, in the Engineering Skill Tree you can increase your Crit Damage, Charge Multiplier, ignore all enemy armor and increase overall damage by 25% for Tech Weapons but not for Smart Weapons. On the other hand, the only Perk specifically for Smart Weapons found in the Engineering Skill Tree simply reduces Smart Weapon reload speed by up to 10%.
