Powerful Cyberpunk 2077 Quickhacks!
What Are Quickhacks in Cyberpunk 2077?
Quickhacks are the primary weapon of Netrunners in Cyberpunk 2077. Quickhacks are special programs, moded into your Cyberdeck Cyberware, that can cast powerful effects on your enemies or surroundings.
Where To Buy Quickhacks
The easiest place to find Quickhacks in Night City is through multiple Netrunner Vendors located throughout Night City’s districts. These vendors sell Quickhacks of varying types and quality. Some examples of Netrunner Vendors are Yoko Tsuru in Kabuki and Chang Hoon Nam in Japantown. To find a Netrunner Vendor look for the map icon below.
Quickhacks can also be earned from completing the Breach Protocol mini-game on Access Points or found as enemy drops or from side-quest rewards as well. Quickhacks can also be crafted.
How To Access Quickhacks
Quickhacks in Cyberpunk 2077 function just like Mods. To make use of a Quickhack you first have to slot it into your Cyberdeck Cyberware. Different Cyberdecks allow for different amounts of Quickhacks to be available at any given time, with 6 Quickhacks being the maximum.
To access your currently equipped Quickhacks, make sure that you’ve installed a Cyberdeck at your local Ripperdoc, then click on the Cyberdeck Icon in your Inventory Screen.
Quickhack Rarity
Quickhacks can come in several different rarities including the usual Uncommon, Rare, Epic and Legendary varieties. Often, upgrading your Quickhack to a higher rarity will also give it bonus effects, making it worth obtaining higher rarity Quickhacks whenever possible!
All Quickhacks as well as their effects are listed below.
Cyberpunk 2077 Quickhacks List
There are 4 main categories of Quickhacks in Cyberpunk 2077.
- Combat Quickhacks are the bread and butter of netrunners. You can cast them to deal damage and exploit elemental weaknesses. They can be amazingly effective to destroy weak points, too.
- Control Quickhacks are also useful in combat situations, as they can greatly impede opponents. They can prove particularly decisive against bosses and mini-bosses to disable their own Cyberware.
- Covert Quickhacks are useful in infiltration scenarios to elude or escape the attention of enemies, for example by deafening them or even by wiping their memory.
- Ultimate Quickhacks are the most powerful programs, but also the most costly in terms of RAM and upload time. Cast correctly, the can potentially eliminate targets instantly, or even turn them against each other.
